Background Son of Juan José Vicentino (currently imprisoned in NC Prison) and Marta Alicia López (institutionalized in a psychiatric hospital). Both were long-time members of the Valentinos. Vicente grew up surrounded by the gang's street culture, violence, and rituals, absorbing the Code of the Valentinos as a sacred law. He joined the Valentinos at 17 years old, quickly rising in influence due to his ruthless discipline and devotion to the Code. Eventually, he was given the unique and feared title of “El Castigo”, a gang role that acts as judge and executioner for those who break gang law or dishonor the Code.

Background Son of Guadalupe Alejandra Welles and Raúl Welles. Raúl died in combat against the Sixth Street gang. Born in 2047 and raised in Vista del Rey, Jackie earned the nickname Two Cannons for the sheer power of his arms. Above all, he puts Heywood and the Valentinos first. He fights with his golden pistols—his chingonas doradas—a machete, his fists, and, only rarely, shotguns. Loyal to the core, straightforward, and never one to hide his true self, Jackie combines a hard-edged sense of humor with a big heart. His mother describes him as a noble man who always wanted to protect his own. Jackie joined the Valentinos at the age of sixteen. A major figure in the 2072 gang war against Maelstrom, Jackie cemented his reputation that August during the Industrial District battles. He took three bullets meant for Gustavo Orta—an act that nearly cost him his life but elevated his name almost as much as Orta's. For saving Gustavo, Jackie was awarded a rose. Alongside another rose inherited from his late father, Jackie became the only Valentino to hold two roses, the most ever accumulated within the gang by 2077.

Background Initially Mexican. Later acquired Night City citizenship in 2058 when his parents moved to work for Arasaka NC. He joined The Valentinos when he was 19 years old. Married to Micaela Ruiz. They have a daughter, Sofía Ruiz. His parents are both Arasaka corpos. César maintains a deeply strained relationship with them, resenting their values and corporate servitude. He almost graduated from Arasaka Academy in Readings (behavioral sciences, body language analysis, psychological profiling). Exceptional at reading people. He can often predict intentions, emotions, and truthfulness with unnerving accuracy.

Combat Style

• Hand-to-hand combat: Highly skilled brawler.
• Firearms: Proficient with pistols and rifles.
• Netrunning: His strongest domain. Tactical hacker capable of manipulating systems, surveillance, and battlefield data in real time.

Personality

• Intelligent, analytical, long term thinker.
• An anarcho-capitalist; despises the NUSA, collectivism, leftist politics, and any form of government regulation. Believes in unregulated markets and absolute individual sovereignty.
• Sees corporations as corrupt but also as inevitable structures of power. His loyalty lies neither with corpo families nor the state, but with The Valentinos.

Background El Perro (The Dog), known for being an apprentice, seeks to become the third Castigo in the history of the Valentinos, after Sebastián Ibarra and Vicente Vicentino. He accepted Vicente's suggestion in 2075 to obtain Mexican citizenship. He has a strong sense of justice and is incorruptible, like any good Castigo. Unlike Vicente, The Dog has begun to notice that the code isn't perfect. Castigos must follow the code to the letter, but during Gustavo Orta's crisis, The Dog began to ask many questions. Always respectfully, he tries to make Vicente see that the code isn't perfect. He always used double pistols for combat, but unable to stop admiring Vicentino's skill with knives, he decided to start learning.

Background The best long-range shooter among the Valentinos. Leader of "Las Lejanas (The Distant Ones)" group. Playful, daring, and an excellent dancer. Like her lover Vicente Vicentino, she loves heights. Unlikely as Castigo, not serious at all, she jokes whenever she gets the chance. High pain tolerance. She was shot four times in the head during the war against the Maelstrom in '72 and kept fighting as if nothing had happened. She only became crazier. It is not recommended to approach her; her sexual appetite is difficult to satisfy.

Citizenship Chilean, Nightcidian

Background Born in Chile, she moved to Night City with her family when she was just two years old. Shortly after, her parents were killed in a crossfire between the Sixth Street Gang and the Tyger Claws. At 14, she became a con artist. At 16, she encountered her parents' killers, swindled them, kidnapped them, and stole everything they owned. This caught the attention of Campo Orta, who gave her a place in the Valentinos in '65. She hasn't stopped conning people, only now she does it for the benefit of the Heywood community. She's lethal with her Overture revolver.

Background José Luis is in charge of the Valentinos' vehicle fleet. He customizes and modifies them as needed. José Luis "El Loco" Fernández was born in Jalisco and never obtained Nightcidian citizenship. The nickname suits him well: crazy, loud, and a conspiracy theorist. He's eternally in love with shotguns, especially double-barreled ones. He's the best friend of Martina González and Laura Giménez.

Background "Neutral" because he uses black or white. He changes his Cyberware like he changes clothes; nobody knows how. They don't know who his Ripperdoc is. He has one face in the morning and another in the afternoon. Beyond the 2072 war, Miguel has made countless Cyberware purchases from DumDum, which has led to a cordial relationship between the two. Leader of “The Magicians" faction, who have the most implants installed in the Valentinos. A Sandy fanatic who carries two pistols.

Background A true gang member, old school style. Need to steal? He's there. Need to rob? He's there. Kidnap? Kill? Traffic? Sell stolen goods? Always ready. Born in Nuevo León, no Night City citizenship. While he doesn't belong to Mateo Lorenzo's crew, he does a lot of work for him and has helped him enormously with his operations. He belongs to the OG's faction.

Background Mateo Lorenzo, plain and simple, no nickname. He doesn't waste time; money comes first. Very materialistic. Efficiency, effectiveness, and practicality. Financially advised by César Diego Ruiz. He has: life insurance (nobody knows how), retirement insurance, options, stocks, bonds, and all his cars are insured against any type of damage. He could easily have been a finance manager at a corporation. He's level-headed; he knows the Valentinos come first, but since they come first, it's best to earn the most Eddies, for Heywood and for himself. He belongs to the OG's faction. Best friend of Hector Daniel “Malandro” Duarte. He fights with the weapons that best suit the situation.
